The 4th Annual Downtown Blues and BBQ will be held October 13, 2007 in downtown Texarkana presented by Main Street Texarkana.

This year's festival will host such events as The Road to Memphis Blues Competition presented by the Texarkana Blues Society, Hot Dogs and Cool Cats Weiner Dog Races, and a Saturday Blues concert featuring nationally acclaimed award winning bands.

11:00 a.m. Gates open; Hot dogs and Cool Cats Weiner Dog Race; Road to Memphis Blues Competition
12:30 p.m. Weiner Dog Race winners announced
3:15 p.m. BBQ Winners announced
3:45 p.m. Kunio Kishida
5:15 p.m. Jim Suhler and Monkey Beat
6:45 p.m. Reba Russell
8:15 p.m. Johnny Winter

This year's BBQ Cookoff Competition is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society.

Gates open at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Admission is $5 for all day and evening and BBQ Samples are $3.

Proceeds benefit Main Street Texarkana.
