Located on the second floor of City Hall, the Finance Department is staffed with (8) full-time employees and is primarily responsible for processing all financial transactions and fulfilling all reporting requirements for over 50 "funds" including the city's General and Street funds and various grant, capital project, debt service/reserve, pension trust, and other agency funds. The City's payroll is processed bi-weekly by this department. Other major activities initiated and coordinated by this department include the preparation of the city's annual budget and providing support during the annual external auditing process. This staff also handles administration of various public works and protective services grants awarded to the city. Personnel is also located in this department.
